After a tornado of flight delays/flight cancellations/lost luggage and hitting rock bottom, I am finally home! Every time I come home I always question why I left in the first place, and this break is no exception. It pretty much feels like summer with blue skies, sunshine, and 80-degree temperatures. Because the weather was so beautiful, I had to bring out my velvet halter top from Forever 21. Due to its thick material, I did not have to wear a bra, which allowed me to show off my spine, ha. I absolutely love backless tops because they are sexy, but also classy, at least in my opinion. To sprinkle some excitement into my outfit, I paired the top with my floral trousers and accessorized with a plethora of bracelets and a spike ring. This ensemble was just screaming for my boater hat, so I plopped it on my head for the perfect finishing touch. I couldn’t find any of my flats (read: I was too lazy to look for my countless number of flats), so I tucked the trousers into my ankle boots and then snapped these photos with my amazeball new Canon DSLR! Yeah, my dad just bought a new DSLR and it is the bomb.com! Too stoked for photo adventures with my friends.

In the life matters of things, I am just getting over being sick, but I decided to go on a run today anyways. Probably not the best idea, but I needed to clear my head. It’s been a tumultuous past couple of days, so I def needed a run to help life make sense again. Sometimes, every bone in your body wants to rush back to a person, but your mind knows better. Still teeter-tottering on the edge of this cliff, trying to decide whether I should just take the plunge and see what happens. My best friend Carrie says I like the idea of fraternizing with guys that are bad for me and when a dude is good for me, I want nothing to do with him. I guess I am living proof of the validity in the whole girls dig bad boys thing. However, I am trying to mature and grow out of this problematic old skin, which is why I’ve been walking away quite a bit recently, buuuut it’s not easy and I’m scared I might cave.

In other news, my voice is raspy because I’ve been sick, so I’ve been feeling super cool and mysterious. I feel like I should offer to be the enigmatic character in clandestine clothing in some indie film and quote Kerouac and break boys’ hearts haha. Here’s some music:
