I've said this a million times already, but I am a creature of comfort. However, I am also a fashion enthusiast, so my life has been a mad attempt at staying true to my sartorial affinities whilst remaining cozy. This is no easy feat, but luckily Normcore has taken the haute couture world by storm, which means sweatpants are being tailored to look slicker without losing their featherblanket feel. A type of sweatpant I'm particularly fond of is the jogger. Worn by my best friend (jk I wish) Kanye West, joggers make you look stylish and feel snug at the same time. Such a garment is pretty much a gold mine in the clothing cosmos, so of course I bought a handful of em cuz #duh. 

The ones I'm wearing above are my denim joggers, and I love them because they allow me to rep my 90's kiddom (Saved by the Bell anyone?). I paired the pants with my black velvet halter top because I like the turtleneck-ish collar and I think backless tops are rad and Ronnie is MIA from my life so wearing black sorta makes up for his absence but not really. Because a black top with denim pants was a bit simple, I embellished the look with my ginormous peacock earrings. To keep the earrings from consuming my face, I tied half my hair into a bun, which allowed them to peek out without being like whoa. For last touches, I put on my vintage watch, Crazy Town bracelet, and mustache ring. Then, I slipped into my Ralph Lauren espadrilles because I thought they matched the casual cool vibe of my ensemble. 

I can't think of a good transition into the music part of this post so here it is.
