Black lace doors black powder asphalt black heart words;
leaf shadows pattern the deepest red.
I'm reeling
in the soundless chlorine chokes/in the ghosts that cut like gasps/in you.
The footprints we filled, now empty
like salt spilling vanishes.
Phantoms smothered revisit dark wall labyrinths
of murky thickness of somatic blanco glitter of broken road imprisonment
tch tch tch.
Behind the glass, craven crawls under the mercury moon howling,
I can't claim ignorance.
So I bare my bones between the neon trees whispering aya-ayalah,
spitting blood and maplememories in search of a colorswirl eternity.
The nails pierce miles of flesh, cord like iron
Azure ripples reflect irises glazed and organs chained
but we dress in sunyellow to create the façade of lightness.
I think this pair of red shoes are beautiful.
