I squeezed in some snaps of my blonde haired (it's natural because of the Russian blood on my dad's side) and hazel-eyed baby sis and me because I thought the sequence was funny. Anyways, I've wanted overalls for a really long time and I finally bought this pair from F21 because it has holes on the knees and I love me a pair of distressed denim. I teamed the overalls with a loose-fitting striped top since I'm a sucker for oversized T-shirts and I think stripes are one of those eternally in style patterns. Plus the top added a playful vibe to my ensemble. To avoid looking like a farmer, I added a red lip for a feminine feel and tied my hair in a topknot. I pushed the bun to the side to create a quirky last touch. For shoes, I wore my UO Oxfords because I couldn't find my pointy-toed UO flats.

 

All my hometown friends have abandoned me to go back to school. They started winter break earlier than me, so, of course, they would go back earlier than me. It's actually perfect timing because I can feel myself retreating into my anti-social hermit skin. I love playing with my friends and interacting with people (especially if they are freaks of nature), but I also love being alone. Call me a lone wolf, but I love spending time by myself reading, writing, whatever. I'm super stoked to just sit on my couch and get lost in good books this week. #ridinsolo #don'tholleratme

 

And now for a short segment of Wisdom from Hunter (he is basically the Oprah Winfrey in my life): "But really though. Especially when you're not around the person. It's hard to give an f sometimes. I think it's a human nature thing but maybe it's just me. And I don't think this means he's not a nice guy. It just further highlights his considerable flaws. #considerableflaws"

Me: "That's a good question. Sometimes I think so but it's hard to psychoanalyze yourself. But sometimes I think I flee from something that is too good in terms of men which is why I'm attracted to bad boys. Perhaps it's the inability to blame with a nice guy or the false sense of control from the idea of turning a bad guy good or maybe because I'm Asian and I have a long cultural history of hardship and suffering so I'm drawn to that. I should quote myself on my blog."

I recommend just sitting on the ground and letting the music swallow you up. People spend too much time multitasking whilst listening to music. Let the notes take the spotlight. Let the sound consume you.
