Reunited with my homegirl Michelle by throwing a little tea party complete with popsicles, vintage cameras, and good conversation. I've been friends with this lovely human since 3rd grade, and she's stuck with me through the ups and the downs. It's one thing to be there during the laughter, but it's a beautiful and heart-warming thing to be there during the tears. And this one's been there through pretty much every single tear and I am so incredibly grateful to have someone who I know will always be there for me even when I'm a million miles away. She is the epitome of human empathy and kindness. I couldn't have asked for a better person to have gone through childhood, teenage angst, and early adulthood with. Here's to many more years of lolz, mer days, and photo adventures.
P.S. I definitely recommend setting up a tea party this summer. It allows for proper catch up time with hometown friends and who doesn't love (green) tea? Just don't forget your sundress, floppy hat, and wedges/sandals because no tea party is complete without the proper tea party ensemble!

ReplyDeleteI'm such a sucker for floppy hats. I really love the brown one with cutouts. It's a modern take on it.
